Success That’s Skin Deep
You may be a whiz at applying mascara in morning traffic, but taking proper care of your skin is best done before you have one hand on the wheel – especially in the winter.
Consider adding these handpicked moisturizers to your beauty arsenal to fight against cold weather and keep your skin beautiful:
If multi-tasking is your thing, why not use a beauty balm that does, well, everything? Skin Savior ($68) triple-duties as a mineral powder primer, under eye de-puffer and it even tames your hair.
Is a hectic work schedule wreaking havoc on your skin? Lots of coffee paired with little sleep can do a number on your dermis. This calls for the LIFTLAB skincare system ($20) promising to “preserve skin’s youthful appearance.”
For those always hopping from plane to plane for business, the creamy, versatile lotion Lait-Crème Concentrè ($14-$25) is travel size and TSA-friendly. It acts as a face primer, make-up remover and even treats nicked legs after shaving.
Before applying your favorite rouge, treat your lips to a soothing lip balm ($7). This one from Kiehl's will protect against the dry cold with ingredients like lanolin and vitamin E.
Luckily, switching out open-toed shoes for boots means spending less on pedicures this season. You can still keep feet in tip-top shape with all-natural ARCH Sole Savour Creme ($30) that heals and hydrates feet without parabens, sulfates or fragrances.

Hear Hear!
Doft, kissable skin is one of the most attractive things a woman can have in her beauty arsenal. And really, it's not that difficult to maintain. You just need to be willing to spend a little bit of money on yourself! That's cool, right?

Secrets for great winter skin
As a former 10-year consultant for Mary Kay Cosmetics, I can't stress enough, how important it is for women to have a daily skin care regimen that includes a great cleanser, bi-weekly facial masks (to remove the dead/dry skin and keep skin radiant), and a moisturizer.
Although I still use Mary Kay, I've also used, particularly in the winter, Ponds® Dry Skin Cream. This "classic" moisturizer keeps my skin radiant and nourished against the cold wintery winds, especially in the Midwest!
