America’s Top Leaders Promote the Conversation on Women’s Advancement

PINK’s 6th Annual Spring Women’s Business Lunch Brings Together Female Professionals to Discuss Issues Most Relevant to Modern Working Women

ATLANTA (April 28, 2015) – With all the challenges women at work still face today – how can a woman create her best career and live her best life? The women’s business advocate LittlePINKBook.com brings together top leaders, including Lacrecia Cade, General Counsel, Morehouse College; Tricia Conahan, Chief Marketing Officer, Brookdale Senior Living; Paula S. Larson, Chief Human Resources Officer, Newell Rubbermaid; and Debbie Simpson, Chief Financial Officer, The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) to answer such questions during PINK’s annual spring lunch on June 4th from 11am-2pm at 103 West in Atlanta. Click for details.

PINK facilitates discussions about women’s workplace issues with wisdom from America’s top female executives and entrepreneurs. What are the greatest challenges and opportunities at work? Where do women fit into the future business world? What does women’s empowerment mean for men? How can women compete in the daily grind without losing themselves?

There has never been a more important time to address such issues and spark change. Consider this:

* The pay gap, at 79 cents on the dollar, narrowed by a penny since 2012. (DOL)

* While 85 percent of American women believe in gender equality, only 18 percent consider themselves feminists. (Vox)

* Just 31 percent of female millennials aspire to the C-Suite compared to 68 percent of older women. (Saba)
