What is Giving Tuesday?

Giving Tuesday is a global day of generosity that takes place each year on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. It was created as a simple idea to encourage people everywhere to do good. On this day individuals, businesses and communities come together to support causes they care about through donations acts of service and spreading kindness.

What began as a small movement has grown into an international celebration of giving and a powerful reminder that everyone can make an impact.
