Angela Stone of Xtend-Life Natural Products, www.xtend-life.com.

How did your modeling career at a young age help you become a successful, businesswoman?

Unlike other teenagers, I was working long hours as a model and had adult responsibilities. This involved getting to work on time, doing my job and most important, taking care of myself so that I was rested and healthy to look my best on camera.

Because of this experience, I knew exactly what it would take to open my own modeling agency and be successful. And whether or not I’m on camera today, I formed good habits early on which are essential for having the energy and good health I need to be creative and run my businesses effectively.

What health tips do you have for busy, female entrepreneurs?

Well, I have worked very closely with Xtend-Life Natural Products for many years to learn about natural products and how they can help the human body look and feel better from the inside out.

Basically, you need to eat the right foods, use natural supplements and moisturizers that give you what your body needs, exercise, and get a good night’s sleep. This is a simple process, but it works. If you are good to your body, you will have the energy and health you need to pursue your entrepreneurial goals!

What insights can you share about creating and marketing a successful business?

Research is an essential tool. When I started my modeling agency, I researched various industries and knew what businesses were looking for when choosing models to represent them. Then, I conducted extensive interviews to find the perfect models to fit those needs.

Once I had the right models on board, I trained them on how to be professional at all times and marketed their unique qualities via photos, in-person meetings, phone calls, and more. Word spread that we provided the best models available who were reliable, beautiful and unique, and the agency grew quickly. If you provide top-notch services, your best marketing will be via word-of-mouth.

Is there anything you would like to add?

No matter what kind of business you are creating or pursuing, you won’t get very far if you don’t have good health. It’s essential to eat the right things, be active and use the right products. Scientists are constantly finding new benefits related to natural herbs and ingredients that are found around the world. Look for these 100% natural ingredients in your supplements and skincare products. Then, you will have all of the nutrients to feel, and look, great at all times.

Thanks for your insights, Angela!
