Meet Michelle Grech, President of Melt during PINK’s 11th Annual Fall Empowerment lunch scheduled for October 19th from 10:30am-2pm at the InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta hotel.
Named as one of the Sports Business Journal’s 2013 “Game Changers,” Grech is paving the way for women in sports marketing. A professional brand marketer, strategist, event producer and national television producer, Grech has shattered the C-level ceiling in an industry dominated by men.
In 2006, she joined MELT as Partner and Chief Operating Officer and was named President of MELT in 2015 where she oversees the daily operations and strategy of the organization. During her tenure at MELT, Grech is credited with creating the entertainment strategy for the NCAA Men’s Final Four; has produced award-winning campaigns, events and television productions for companies such as The Coca-Cola Company, ESPN College GameDay, LakePoint Youth Sports, Jeff Foxworthy Grit Chips, Kia, Nissan, Corona, State Farm, Gildan, First Data, Reese’s, The SEC, The ACC, CBS, Turner Sports, ESPN and many others.
Grech has helped MELT capture numerous industry awards such as Adweek Buzz Marketer, The Agency IT List, Cynopsis Sports Marketing Agency of The Year Award and The EX Award. Prior to joining MELT, Grech was a Brand Manager for The Coca-Cola Company where she created innovative programs for Powerade, such as producing “King James: LeBron James The Superhero” for DC Comics; The Dasani Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Special edition and many others. Grech was also a research analyst and strategist for Turner Broadcasting Company.
She holds an MBA from Emory University and a BBA from The University of Michigan. Grech serves as a Board Member for the Atlanta Sports Council and the Arthritis Foundation, Georgia Chapter.
