The stock market’s nosedive and the economy in shambles is affecting every business. I know this on a very personal level as a business owner myself. It isn’t easy. You have a dream of building a company, and you have employees whose livelihoods depend on you. The other day, during a challenging moment – as I sat outside reflecting on the obstacles – my mind wandered to all the many women who every day lend PINK so much support. Lynne Homrich of the UptownScoop.com; Cath Weitnauer, a star over at Yahoo!; brilliant Liz Ward; Melissa Elliott, who just joined PINK, and Robin Washington, who is about to, and all the other amazing women who work at PINK; Christine Owens at UPS; wise friend Dr. Kathleen Hall; Sheila Weidman at Georgia-Pacific; the spectacular panelists who flew in from everywhere to speak at our annual conference series events; and all the many other women who send good energy our way every day. I looked up from the rooftop patio, with a little tear in my eye, as a tall postal truck lumbered past. I could only see the top of it. It read: “We deliver for you.”
