Something Really Scary to Avoid in Business

If you use this word as a crutch, your business will not grow as fast as it can!

There are a host of frightful decorations and haunted houses popping up, and the busy, holiday season is already here. Yikes!

This is scary stuff. But there is no reason to fear… unless… you use this four-letter word – HOPE.

Now, that’s something to worry about.

Are you hoping for sales to increase by the end of the year?

Are you trying a new job or learning a new skill and hoping it will make a difference?

Are you hoping your name will be at the top of the search engines and in newspapers nationwide?

Well, if you are hoping for these things, I can tell you that your odds of making them are going down.

Yes, it’s good to have hope in certain situations – but only when things are completely out of your control and you’ve done everything possible to make your wishes a reality.

Stop the Fear with Action

So many people hope for the best, hope to win the lottery, hope to make their lives better.

Well, I’ve got news for you. If you are only hoping, and not doing, you’ll be hoping a long time!

Hoping gives you an excuse to sit back and do nothing. Instead, don’t take excuses.

Envision your goals becoming a reality and don’t let negativity, naysayers, fear, or anything else get in your way.

It’s so easy in life to get in a rut and stay there. It’s difficult to make change happen – especially if you are not surrounded by supportive influences.

So my tip today is to change your mindset.

What do you want to make happen in your life? Be positive about it becoming a reality and take action to make it happen.

Work hard at getting negativity out of your mind and focus on winning every day.

If you are stuck with something in your business or personal life, there’s a reason you’re stuck. It’s not going to change unless you change your attitude and take action.

As Albert Einstein said, insanity is “doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”

You can go as someone who is “insane” for Halloween. But right now, make a promise to yourself to make the change happen that you want to happen.

After all, what if you are in your same rut next year at this time? Now, that’s really scary.

Envision success, take action on your dreams and stay positive. You’ll be surprised at the results.
