It’s the focus of numerous upcoming stories at PINK. We’re talking about it at our upcoming events too. Few are immune to the effects of this recession. Here at PINK, we are also taking steps to shore up business and operations, to cut costs and stabilize the balance sheet. These decisions are not easy ones to make. But with every challenge comes an opportunity.
The current economy is forcing organizations large and small to be more innovative. Many we’ve talked with (including American Airlines, Southwest Airlines, ExxonMobil, Lennox and Ernst & Young) have already come up with smart new programs that not only are saving dollars, but also are protecting the environment and improving morale!
We’re working on similar endeavors here at PINK. We, like so many others, are working to meet market needs while holding true to our purpose: to empower women to find greater success in work and in life.
In keeping with this, we’re about to offer our very first digital issue of Little PINK Book. You can sign up for free! We’re also expanding our events series in 2009.
You can help! To show your support for women in business, make sure your friends and colleagues – and your company – sign up too!
In being creative and supporting one another, we not only will survive but also thrive during these tough times.
