It’s awful when it’s time for the weekend, and the weather decides to take a turn for the worse. It can mean you are stuck inside during your Saturday when you would rather be outside having fun. But here are some ideas of what you can do at home during a rainy weekend!
Have a movie day. A fun thing you can do when its raining outside is to have a movie day. Stay in your pajamas, and choose some fab movies you haven’t seen in ages or haven’t watched before. You can get a broad range of movies on providers such as Netflix. Don’t forget to bring down your duvet and get some snacks from the kitchen such as popcorn and chocolate to consume while you watch the flick!
Do some cleaning. We put off cleaning for ages as we arrange to go out during our days off. So why not spend the day making the house look fabulous while it’s raining. Get the hoover out and give each room a vacuum. Sort out the washing and put a load on to do while you are in the house. Cleaning your home is a great way of getting rid of any old junk that might be just sitting around in your home!
Pamper yourself. Another way to entertain yourself when you are at home during a rainy day is to have a pamper day. Run the bath and use some bath salts in there to help you relax. You can also do a face mask to help your skin stay healthy and acne-free. You should take the time to give yourself a manicure. Pampering yourself is great after a long stressful week.
Play a game. If you are not sure what to do when your bored during a rainy day, why don’t you play a game for a while as a family? Pick out an old favorite such as monopoly or jenga. If you don’t have any old board games, it might be time to turn on the Wii, Playstation or Xbox and find a game you can play all together. It’s a great way of passing the time while you have to stay indoors.
Sort out old photos. Having to stay indoors means you can finally sort through those old photos which you have left on the side. Although people are still getting pictures printed off, they often don’t find the time to put them into albums. It’s so important to sort them out so that when you look back in years to come, you know when and where the photos were taken.
Go through your wardrobe. A rainy day is an ideal time to go through your wardrobe and get rid of clothes you don’t need anymore. Try everything on and see if it fits anymore, and if it does, whether or not you even like it anymore. Going through your stuff means you can buy some new clothes that will be able to fit in there!
