Do You Use a Web Template? Watch Out!

Without The Right Content, You Lose Sales.

Woo Hoo!

You started a business and found out that your industry (real estate, tech, health, etc.) has a simple template you can use to create your website. It’s easy, and automated content posts for you. Done.

Not so fast.

If you use the same tool as everyone else, your website will have the same look and feel as everyone else. That means you won’t stand out from the competition, and you’ll lose sales.

Well, this doesn’t mean that you need to create a new website from scratch. But, it does mean that you need to spend some time and effort on your content.

Same Website Template… Unique Content

Once your website is up and running, it’s time to use content to bring in sales and have an edge over the competition with:

·        Blogs

If you are not writing blogs on a regular basis, you are missing out on an excellent opportunity to provide valuable information to your target market.

Develop unique content that sets your business apart, and add search engine optimization to boost online awareness.

·        Newsletters

Develop a monthly newsletter with a service like MailChimp or my favorite, AWeber.

Create an eBook, Tip Sheet, article, Infographic, and more relative to what your customers want. Then, give it away to anyone who subscribes for your newsletter.

A newsletter may seem like a lot of work, but it is an excellent way to build long-term relationships with potential customers.

·        Email Drip Campaigns

Once you develop all of this great content, you need to share it!

When people sign up for your newsletter, send them emails over a period of time to keep in touch with them and provide value. Let them know when you have a new blog post, event, sale, and more… without being annoying.

Use Your Content to Increase Sales and Stand Out!

These are just a few ideas to help you stand out from the competition with your industry-template website.

Once your “template” website is live, it’s up to you to do the extra work to provide unique and valuable content to your target audience on a regular basis.

Yes, this take time and effort so you may want hire an experienced, SEO content-marketing strategist to help you so you can concentrate on your core responsibilities.

But, however you move forward, be sure to add unique content to your website and overall, marketing plan. Only then, will you be able to see sales skyrocket and have an edge over the competition!
