Wishes for a Happy New Year

With a sigh of relief and high hopes, we wish you a healthy and happy New Year.

As we usher in 2021, the PINK team and I want to send you a huge heartfelt thanks for making this a wonderful year despite the many challenges. Truth: It’s been difficult. But you have made it great. For me, these hard times serve as a reminder of all the good we have; the deep loss, a reminder to cherish what lives.

I have much gratitude for you and your continued support, for joining us for the PINK Events this year, which ironically reached a record number of women. In the time of Pandemic, more than 1,500 of you registered for the August Event (here is the replay as a little gift for you), and more than 700 signed up to watch and participate in November (here is the link for that!) We have overflowing appreciation for the women leaders who participated in these events, and payed it forward by helping out and by sharing what has taken them decades to learn, so the rest of us might thrive.

This year has given us the opportunity (aka forced us) to pivot and offer more via livestream (including our next event on March 9th) and zoominars as part of a new affiliate program for ongoing career development for ambitious and/or high potential women via the Pink Power Alliance

Thanks to those of you who have sponsored the events, leaders in companies that are stepping up to advance diversity and support for their women (The Coca-Cola Company, UPS, The Home Depot, Warner Media News & Sports, Southern Company, Cox, Truist etc), and those of you who bought seats to attend events even when you were out of town or when your company policy didn’t allow you or yours to actually show up. Thanks to those of you who wrote articles for PINK, enabling us to inspire and empower others. Thanks to those of you who shared your time and your ideas, offering input and guidance. Thank you for the support and encouragement you give us by simply being part of this community—this has kept us going.

All this is proof that good things can come out of difficulty, when we roll up our selves, take a breath and push forward even if it’s one small step at a time.

With all that, we say so long to 2020—and hope that 2021 brings you and yours unimaginable gifts including health, happiness, success and all good things that are meant to be.

Cheers to you. Cheers to reimagining a better workplace for women, and a better world for us all.

bent they wore the shape of the wind.” -Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens
