3 Ways to Spruce Up for Spring
As the season moves into spring, your work wardrobe will need changing too. Luckily, a few key pieces are all you need to freshen up your look.
Layered lightweight fabrics, fruit-hued colors and print accents are simple ways to bring your business attire into the new season. Neutrals with a pop of orangey-pink, violet or turquoise will keep you polished and fashion-forward. These floral-print tops from Jones New York and INC will make a statement without being distracting.
Generally, it’s best to steer away from strappy sandals in the office. Instead, alternate a neutral pump with a heel in animal print or “honeysuckle,” the official
color of 2011. Add understated accessories like stud earrings with a touch of color or sparkle, like these from Kate Spade and Anne Klein.
Give everyone on your elevator ride a whiff of spring with a subtle fragrance. Applying a dab of Daisy by Marc Jacobs or Calypso Tangerine by Christiane Celle to your pressure points leaves you with a clean scent that won’t send cubicle-mates into a coughing fit.
