Yes, it’s risky, but risks can be managed and minimised if you get the right kind of expert advice. Don’t rush into it though. You then need to study which stocks you think it would be most sensible to invest in. Each company goes through highs and lows. So, before investing in Yelp stocks, make sure you study their performance and look at the market predictions for the coming months.

Taking on a lodger can be the perfect way to bring in extra cash if your home is too big for you. Some people don’t like the idea of taking a stranger into their home. But as long as you make the effort to find the right person to welcome into your home, you shouldn’t have any problems.

Do extensive interview and ask for a couple of references before you decide to let them into your home. And if you get the impression that they might cause you problems, you should move on and look for another person instead. This is a new phenomenon that is becoming increasingly popular. Companies are always desperate for market knowledge. And one way in which the conduct their market research is by asking the public to fill out different surveys and get an idea of the public’s wants and needs.

Businesses find this research so useful that they even pay people to fill out surveys and questionnaires online. This means you can spend your spare time doing this and get a little extra cash for it. Some will offer cash and others pay you in the form of gift vouchers and store tokens.

4. Take Photos

Making extra money doesn’t have to mean chores and sacrifices though. Taking photos is a great way of turning a hobby that you do in your spare time into a way of making a bit of extra money. A lot of professional photographers start out as hobbyists who got paid here and there for their photos.

Newspapers and magazines are always looking for photos, and they pay anybody who provides them with the best photos. They don’t care whether you’re professional or not as long as you provide them with top quality photographs. You could also take pictures of nature and sell them as works of art if this is what you’re good at. Alternatively, you could take photos at weddings and events, the options are endless.
