Is My Site Optimized Yet?

Many new entrepreneurs often ask me what they need to do to their site so that they show up at the top of the search engines. They usually want a quick answer, but the truth is…

Search Engine Optimization, or SEO, is an Ongoing Process.

If you want your site to be at the top of the search engines for your keywords, organically without placing ads, there is a lot that needs to happen. This includes: researching keywords, creating valuable content with the appropriate coding and links, ensuring that the search engines find your site, and more.

But this is just the beginning of the SEO process!

After all of your keywords are in place, you must monitor your site to see if you are attracting more people on a daily basis. Plus, you need to review what is going on with the search engines and your site listings every week.

This way, you can see if:

·        Your keywords and copy are actually working
·        Potential customers are finding your site via the search engines
·        Site traffic and clicks increase… and more!

Your site statistics are very important. By reading them, you’ll know what is working and what isn’t. Then, you can change the things that aren’t working and keep those that are.

But Don’t Stop There!

Once you make changes per your site statistics, the whole process begins again because things change. After all, the search engines will update their algorithms, competitors will post new content and members of your target market will use different keywords to find what they are looking for.

To be at the top of the search engines, you have to work on your SEO on a regular basis.

You can be at the top of the search engines without paying a dime for advertising, but it takes more than simply writing and posting a page with keywords.

Good SEO copywriters can help you get to the top of the search engines and stay there. They know what needs to be done to reach your company’s goals and have the skills and experience to make it happen… so keep this in mind when you decide to move forward with SEO.

Sure. You can do your own SEO. But know that you won’t get to the top of the search engines overnight. The truth is that SEO is an ongoing process that involves a lot of time, effort and creativity.
