Resilient Entrepreneurs

You’ve encountered endless obstacles in your career, but you’ve climbed over every one of them – and in the process even cracked a few glass ceilings. Resilience is vital to you as a professional woman and today, on International Women’s Day, we applaud you.

It is necessary to be flexible and open to change, especially during these economic times.
According to Accenture’s International Women’s Day research, 70 percent of their respondents reported that resilience is an important factor when determining which employees to dismiss.

“The message is clear – to advance your career you need to be both strong and flexible,” says Nellie Borrero, Global Inclusion and Diversity Director at Accenture. “Changing environments like the one we’re living in today can be a great challenge, but if you’re resilient, you’ll find the opportunities in it.”

“When the world economy improves – and it will – resilience will continue to be a key attribute for building and sustaining a satisfying career.”
