Some experts are even calling this surge the “Industrial Revolution of our time.”

consultancy on a flexible or contract basis.”
Thanks to online networks, women can create a sustainable career freelancing no matter where they live, she explains. Plus, “freelancing now applies to a range of industries at various experience levels – from virtual assistants, designers and writers to trainers and marketers.”
Traits for successful freelancers include being adaptable, business-minded, a confident communicator and self-resilient.
After deciding to freelance, Startup Nation advises focusing on major clients, expecting it to be lonely at first and reminding yourself that this is your major (or only) source of income.
