From Jackie O to Angelina Jolie, women love a good watch. But for some, phones have taken the place of timepieces – and calendars and letters and… well, you get the idea.
But with this season’s hot new watches, we predict women will begin sporting these practical accessories in the workplace again.
One major trend for spring is earth tones vs. harsh metals. We like this tortoise shell watch from Michael Kors and this pearlized model from Fossil.
Traditionalists may lean towards the classic bracelet watch. This style is commonly found in gold, with embellishments or in a gold-and-silver combo,
which will pair effortlessly with other jewelry.
A lightweight favorite is the ceramic watch, which is also known for being long lasting and scratch-resistant. White is a popular color, but they also come in black, pink and more.
Prefer a piece with a little flair? Opt for a watch with a braided leather strap, a bold color, charm-bracelet style or one that’s blinged out.
Need a watch that does more than just tell time? Check out pieces with features like water resistance, a weekly calendar or a vibrating alarm.
