Women and The Stock Market

Successful Women in The Stock Market

Nowadays, there are millions of successful women in the stock market. The typical stockbroker of the 1980s was male, white, and very aggressive. That’s not the case today. That’s a tired stereotype from the 1980s. If you go down Wall Street today, you’ll see lots of high-powered women and stockbrokers that often make a lot more than men. What you don’t see are the millions of women making money online in the stock market and trading binary options. Internet stock trading and binary options trading makes it super-easy for anyone to trade binary options and stocks from behind their computer screens. You too can become rich from trading online. Let’s look at some of the most successful women in the global stock market.

A recent CNN article said that women often beat men in trading stocks and options. Let’s look at some famous female investors.

No. 1 Geraldine Weiss. Weiss was one of the first women to get famous in finance. She was self-taught, and she learned from listening to her parents’ conversations and reading books on the subject. No investment firm wanted to hire her because she didn’t have a formal education. It was also a man’s world in 1966. So, she started her own investment newsletter. Her investment newsletter performed better than similar newsletters. She kept it going for 37 years.

No. 2 Lubna S. Olayan. This woman was CEO of Olayan Financing Company, one of Saudi Arabia’s biggest companies. She is on Forbes’ list of the 40 most powerful women. Her name on the list might seem kind of unusual to some people because Saudi Arabia is not exactly the best place for women to achieve their fullest potential. It is not common or accepted for women to work in business there, let alone run one. But, she was born into the right family.

No. 3 Linda Bradford Raschke. Linda Bradford Raschke is a professional trader. She started trading professionally in the 80s. She has worked at the Pacific Coast Stock Exchange and Philadelphia Stock Exchange. She was then self-employed as a day trader. She wrote a book on trading strategies and has lectured at numerous prestigious universities.

Trading binary options online is the new way to play. Being a woman in finance is hard work. You have to go against the grain. It was harder in the past. It was a man’s world. In many ways, it still is. But, the times are changing. Nowadays women run some of the most successful companies, and they’re making a ton of money in the stock market. It’s almost just as common to see a female stockbroker as a male.

Today it’s easier than ever to start trading stocks and options online. Trading binary options online is something men and women from all around the world do when they want to make a little extra cash or experiment with global trading. You can start trading online now at a trading platform like Binary Uno.
