PINK lends support to the Alzheimer’s Association and you can too!

Dear PINK community,

Our Founder & CEO Cynthia Good is taking a stand to END Alzheimer’s disease. The time is now, and she needs your help!

Cynthia is participating in Dancing Stars of Atlanta benefiting the Alzheimer’s Association, Georgia Chapter, to raise funds and awareness to fight this disease. Reinventing the popular show, “Dancing with the Stars,” this fundraising event is comprised of approximately 10 celebrity dancers paired with 10 professional dancers, all raising funds by gaining votes in a one-night gala dance competition. Dancing Stars of Atlanta will take place on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at the Loews Atlanta Hotel.

Currently, 5.4 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s disease and someone is diagnosed every 68 seconds. There are currently more than 200,000 Georgians with Alzheimer’s disease; over 80,000 of which reside right here in Metro Atlanta. Alzheimer’s disease is the sixth-leading cause of death in the United States and the only cause of death among the top 10 in the United States that cannot be prevented, cured or even slowed. With your help, we can move one step closer to living in a world without Alzheimer’s disease.

Please vote for Cynthia as your Dancing Star of Atlanta by making a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association, Georgia Chapter.

Sincerely,

Your friends at LittlePINKBook
