Women Leaders Build Allies & Consensus After a Polarizing Presidential Election: PINK’S 16th Annual Fall Women’s Empowerment Lunch – Building Powerful Alliances
Atlanta, Ga., October 21, 2020 – America’s top women business leaders will convene to find common ground and discuss how women can advance even in the midst of a global Pandemic that has hit working women the hardest. PINK’s 16th Annual Fall Empowerment Event at the Crowne Plaza Atlanta Perimeter at Ravinia will bring together dozens of women’s influencers live, and hundreds more via live stream. With a focus on building alliances through authenticity and vulnerability, women leaders of multinational corporations will tell the world how COVID-19 has forever altered the way they live and conduct business and – how they nurture their working relationships despite the recent challenges and COVID related lack of face to face contact. More than 1,600 registered for the August PINK Empowerment Event.
The event kicks off with a video produced for PINK by www.vulnerablerally.org, followed by live data generation to look at working women’s attitudes about the intersection between success and vulnerability. “I believe this is the modern-day success secret,” says PINK founder and CEO Cynthia Good. “The best women leaders I know don’t shy away from sharing themselves and listening and making an effort to understand and know others.” Vulnerable Rally co-founder Candice Holdorf says, “To cast the cloak of security, for the rawness of vulnerability is an act of profound self-love.”
Speakers include Nicole Clifton, President of Social Impact and The UPS Foundation, who starts in her new role heading up the Foundation the same week. Also, on the distinguished panel, Grace Huang, President of Manheim, a Cox Automotive brand; Kris Malkoski, CEO, Home Solutions, Newell Brands; and Joanna Price, SVP, Public Affairs, Communications and Sustainability, The Coca-Cola Company, North America. Natosha Reid Rice, Global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer at Habitat for Humanity International will moderate the event.
The event and broadcast take place from Noon-1:30pm EST with limited in-person seating due to COVID-19. Whether in person or a virtual broadcast in your home or office, anyone can join PINK for networking, lunch, and a high-powered panel discussion sure to inspire and connect you with like-minded professionals. Details at www.LittlePinkBook.com. Those watching or attending in person, will be privy to success strategies and what did and did not work for the speakers over the course of their extraordinary careers. Event sponsors which have made this gathering possible, include The Coca-Cola Company, Cox Enterprises, Southern Company, The Home Depot, UPS, and Warner Media News & Sports.
Those participating will also learn about the PINK Power Alliance, a concierge membership-based suite of services to help women expand their networks while developing, advancing and being inspired as leaders.
