Women battle more turbulence than their male counterparts when it comes to traveling for work.

Life/Work balance remains a constant juggling act. Things get even more chaotic when you throw in a business trip – and your desire to excel at work collides with guilt about leaving your family.

According to a Swedish study, women tend to experience more anxiety than men do when it comes to business trips. Researchers found that not only do women feel more “insecure and guilty,” but expectations regarding home and work responsibilities are higher for women, who are more likely to travel further to spend nights at home rather than on the road.
