How?
You’re busy. People are back from vacation, kids are in school, schedules are changing, and there is a lot to do.
You don’t need more on your “To Do” list. However, if you don’t already have a holiday marketing plan in place, it’s essential to set aside some time to prepare as soon as possible.
But don’t worry!
Your plan doesn’t need to be a time-consuming, exhaustive and detailed report.
If you have no idea what to do, get associates, other local business owners and your team members together for a brainstorming session. This can be a fun event where everyone gets involved in a positive environment to share their insights.
When finished, you’ll know exactly what kind of future marketing ideas to pursue that fit within your budget, timeframes and capabilities!
Once you know what your offers will be, create some kind of document or simple spreadsheet to stay organized.
Note if you need to hire copywriters, publicists and other assistants, who is writing your messages, where they are being sent and when, how you will track responses, follow-up processes, results, and other important data.
Also confirm that your team members know what’s going on and what is expected of them. You may even want to set up some kind of contest where the winner gets a big prize at the end of the year.

If your offers are not working, look at the content and when and where you are sending your messages.
Also review links, website pages, social media, customer service follow-up, etc. Check and fix errors and test your messaging in different ways to see what works best.
It may take some time to get the perfect offer going that resonates with your audience so keep moving forward and make changes for the best results.
