Influencing the Headlines: Empowering Women in Media

Created to position and promote the expertise and thought leadership of women professionals in the media, this half-day event includes a two-hour executive media workshop, a networking luncheon, and a panel discussion featuring some of the top females in journalism, communications and industry. Chicago participants will include Lynn Sherr, award-winning former ABC & PBS correspondent, and Sharon Lechter, co-author of Rich Dad Poor Dad and former member of the President’s Advisory Council on Financial Literacy. Founded by former executives from CNN, NCE’s global expert database serves journalists from over 250 of the world’s top media outlets.
