Make Things Happen in Tough Times
Many female business owners are having
a hard time right now. Customers are on
strict budgets due to the economy, and it can
be difficult to bring in new sales.
Is this your current situation? If so, don’t
let it get to you. Instead…
Take action!
Being an entrepreneur is not easy. Your
business goes through positive and negative
times. With this in mind, here are a few
simple tips to help you get back on the road
to recovery as quickly as possible:
Develop a Contact List.
Think of all the people you know and make a
list of contact. Add classmates, employers,
service providers, co-workers, associates, etc.
Research where they are now and figure out
how to reach them via e-mail or phone.
Think About Their Needs.
Now, review your list and think about the needs
of each individual on it. How can you help
them succeed with your products and/or services?
Perhaps, you can trade services?
Maybe, you can purchase joint advertising or share
customer lists to save money?
Be creative and develop ideas that provide value
for the people on your list.
Call or E-mail Your Contacts.
Start contacting the people on your list and share
your ideas. See how you can work together to help
each other and save time, money and effort.
And if you find that you can’t work together, ask for a referral.
Remember, one simple contact can lead to new customers and sales!
Think of Others.
When times are tough, you can help your own situation by thinking
of others. By helping other business owners succeed, you can increase
your support network, meet potential new customers and start feeling
more positive about your own business.
