Refresh Yourself And Your Office This Spring

With the beginning of a new season you may have noticed there are lots of new fashion and beauty trends popping up in the shops and online. From vibrant floral prints, to cute denim jackets, the fashion industry are certainly in the mood for spring – and it’s contagious. There are so many great looks to try out, it seems like now is the perfect time for a little spring rejuvenation and to try something a little different. A spring makeover doesn’t have to stop at the wardrobe, why not try freshening up your life and your office too?

Fresh Flowers and New Furniture
Bored of the way your office looks? How about adding a vase of fresh flowers to your desk? Plants and flowers can make a big difference to how a room looks and feels. Consider suggesting to your colleagues that the company invests in some plants for the whole office to enjoy, or perhaps a weekly installment of fresh flowers for the reception? Little things like this can make a big contribution to the making of a happy work place. Try switching some furniture around too, or investing in some new desks or chairs, a small change to the layout of a room can make all the difference.

Rejuvenate Your Technology
If you and your colleagues have been complaining about slow computers or sluggish internet, now could be the time to give this equipment a little makeover too. Start by updating the computer software and deleting any temporary files – browse this page for more tips on dealing with a slow computer. If after this general maintenance, your computers are still running slowly and you are having trouble accessing shared storage spaces and the files held within them, you might have to take stronger measures and upgrade your server capacity. It’s worth suggesting to your company about using dedicated servers. These come in a range of speed, RAM, and hard-disk space options, depending on what the company’s requirements will be. Take a look here for servers from 1&1, and see if your company needs to make the shift over to more powerful requirements.

Spring Beauty
Now that you’ve given your work life a bit of a makeover, it’s time to turn your attention to your beauty regime. Try adding some bright, fresh colors to your make up bag. Bright red lipsticks would look great at an after work spring party, as would a splash of blue or turquoise around the eyes. Adding yoga into your daily routine will leave you feeling energized and rejuvenated. Even fifteen minutes of stretching in the morning could make a difference, try a short routine like this ten-minute yoga workout, and you will soon notice the difference. Spring is all about feeling full of energy, so inject some life into your make up and your exercise routine, and you will soon be feeling as fresh as the first spring blossom.

Whatever you choose to do this spring, make sure it washes away those winter blues and leaves you feeling ready to take on the rest of the year.
