Are You Sitting Around or Making Changes?

Although we’ve been hit with some bad financial news lately, it seems like people are staying positive. After talking to friends, family members, business associates, and acquaintances, people are worried about their jobs and budgets, but they are taking action.

For example, Andrew Field of PrintingForLess.com developed his own economic stimulus idea for small businesses and had it mentioned on Forbes.com, a friend of mine is starting a new business after being laid off from the automotive business, and others I’ve spoken to are facing adversity with a positive attitude. They are not willing to let current conditions ruin their lives.

With this in mind, what actions are you taking to make positive changes in your life? Maybe you need to review your finances and create a budget? Perhaps it would be helpful to learn new skills and start a career in a different industry? Or maybe you can get healthier by starting a new workout program?

Whatever you decide, start small and try not to give up. Change can be difficult, but if you create an action plan, surround yourself with positive people, take the time to learn new skills, and review your financial situation, you’ll help reduce stress and improve your life. But best of all, you’ll never have to say “What if” or “If only I had…”
