Conscious Beauty and Latin American Art

I attended an event held in Buenos Aires presenting Natura Cosmetics as the Official BAF Week make up (Buenos Aires Fashion Week). The focus of the meeting was to show how an international beauty company shows its social involvement and commitment by providing excellent products and care for the environment. They invited five very well known artists to include messages and drawings on T-shirts that the company gave out as gifts for the 100 opinion-leaders that attended the event.

The drawings were exceptional and I wanted to share them with you, today, on International Women’s Day, because I love the concept of the productions: CONSCIOUS BEAUTY. The concept of each piece of art was “Beauty and Diversity.”

Artist Cecilia Gadea: “The idea was to generate a kind of heart like-frame with text. The fabric is formed by concepts and words that refer to the diversity and beauty. “

Artists Nadine Zlotogora: “A more cohesive society is based on a sustainable world where communication flows transparently, accepting diversity, dreams and illusions, with responsibility towards the environment which we are a part of.”

Artist Vero Ivaldi: “Vero Ivaldi thought of what would be the subject of pure forms that can symbolize uniformity and diversity at the same time. Sought to discover how to synthesize the existence of groups, cultures and ethnicities in the same universe where they can coexist in different forms and levels, but with a semblance of equality to denote simple difference diversity.”

Artist Vicky Otero: “The stamp is a reprint of my most successful print. It belongs to my second collection, which was inspired in childhood, and in the interactions of children with respect to the use of the garments. This stamp has a number of drawings by Peter Ramirez Otero, my nephew, who was then 6 years [old]. “

Artist Mariana Dappiano: “My intention was to draw women to a fantastic realism, where in one side you could see blending elements of nature, and on the other side you can see textures. It features a line drawing with richness and texture of color. The designs in each of the image transmit a spirit of cultural diversity.”

Conscious Beauty, as a conscious mind, are fundamentals of many companies in Latin America and are the key to successful business differentials in difficult times.
