Have you said this word lately?
It’s time for Thanksgiving, and that means we are getting ready for the upcoming holidays.
Your schedule will get hectic with year-end deadlines, sales and meetings… not to mention all of the activities you have planned with family and friends.
But while all of these activities are happening, don’t forget this little word that can mean a lot to your success in all that you do… THANKS.
– Write special notes for your business associates, customers, assistants, and more.
And by special, I’m not talking about decorative e-mails. Take the time to pick out a nice card, handwrite a note and send it via snail mail. The recipient will appreciate your thoughtfulness.
– Surprise your team.
Out of the blue, surprise your team members with bagels, a special lunch or other treat.
By giving them something out of the ordinary, you’ll provide a nice break and let them know you appreciate their hard work.
– Stay thankful all season.
When things get stressful, think of all the things you are thankful for. Soon, your everyday problems won’t seem so bad.
Just Say “Thank you!”
It may seem simple, but these little words can change a lot. Not only does this phrase let others know you appreciate them, but it can turn a bad day around. Give it a try today.
And with that, I’d like to say have a great Thanksgiving, and thanks for reading this blog!
