Free Help for Small Business Owners

I was so encouraged by the amount of support and love I received when I decided to become my own boss. You can’t put a price on that. Here are 5 other priceless places to turn to for support and wisdom:

  1. First and foremost is the Small Business Association. It’s especially good for money advice. I bookmark their site and refer to it often.
  2.  SCORE is a nonprofit funded by the SBA that offers access to business tools, monthly online workshops and mentors to guide you. They feature special sections for veterans, entrepreneurs over 50 and also encourage high school age and young entrepreneurs.
  3.  AT&T has a small business site with great articles and tools. It even recommends mobile apps to help you on the go.
  4.  Inc. magazine sponsors 60 events a year for small businesses. You can follow their Twitter feed @Incevents to find out more.
  5. You can get free online publicity for your business, too. Merchantcircle.com allows you to create a page for your business and custom coupons for free.
