Go All Out to Make Your Clients Feel Valued When They Travel

Want to know the secret to winning new clients? It’s the same as the secret to keeping existing ones, and that is to make them feel valued and give them what they need. Now, as a business owner you’ll be doing your fair share of interacting with clients. You might even have clients coming to visit from abroad.

It’s vital that you dedicate time and resources to these important clients. They could be instrumental in helping form the future of your business. So, here are a few suggestions for ways you can make them feel valued when they visit.

Be at Their Beckon Call

First things first, make sure you make it clear that you are at their service. As a native you will know the area better than them. So let them know that anything they want to do you can sort out. This is your opportunity to shine and really make a great impression. Don’t try too hard though; you don’t want to make it look like you’re sucking up. Let them know you’re at their beckon call, but try not to force the issue too much.

Spend Time With Them

The worst thing you can do in this kind of situation is to leave a client hanging. You need to make sure you spend as much time with them as you possibly can. Think about how bad an impression you will leave if they barely see you! Sure, you might have other plans pencilled in. Well, you’re going to have to cancel them. For the duration of their visit, the client is your priority and your focus.

Give Them a Tour of the City

Many clients, in particular, foreign ones, are going to want to have a tour of the city. At the very least they will want to see a few places. So, you need to think about the best way to facilitate this. One of the first things you should do is hire a car service so they can travel around in style. Being chauffeured in the back of a limo is an excellent way to make them feel like you value them. High-end travel is the ultimate way to get around, and really shows you care about your client.

Introduce Them to Other Businesses

A good way to keep in your clients good graces is to show you want to help them. Think about introducing them to other businesses while they’re here. Not rivals of course, but any other businesses you are familiar with that might help them. Networking is essential, and helps you develop business bonds. Your client will appreciate the effort, and it could lead on to great things as well.

You need to understand how essential it is to look after your important clients. A lot of them will have come from abroad, so you have to make them feel valued. And there are many ways to do this; it’s just a question of applying yourself. Follow these ideas and you should have one happy client by the end of the trip!
